Dare to be different

My observation about life is that it’s sometimes easier to settle for what everyone around you is about than being different. While that may be all good, it is the greatest mistake a person can make. You see settling for what is normal means that you may never realise your fullest potential. You rob yourself of realizing what you are made of while robbing those around you experience the best that you have to offer.

Being different is also not easy because it may mean against the tide. It may meantime that when everyone is going this direction you choose a different one for the greater good of your potential. Imagine the joy, satisfaction you will get at the end of it when you see the rewards of you pursuing what you were destined to do. Someone may say, but what if it doesn’t work out, what if I fail, well if you do fail the fact is you would have still lived your passion, and you would have learnt lessons that you will put to practice to do better next time. So all in all it would not be failure, refuse to look at it as failure.

Allow yourself to be different for your benefit and for those around you. You fulfillment depends on it.

So I decided to create this blog just to put down my thoughts on certain matters. The writing here would be inspired by conversations that I have, sometimes my personal experiences, sometimes lessons learnt through observation about life. It will not focus on any particular area but life as a whole. Comments will be appreciated and we can have conversations on a lot of different things.
